2021 Lychee, Mango, Longan, Wax Jambu Update

Greetings All,

I hope this note finds you and your family well.

Here’s the 2021 update;

Executive Summary:
Lychees look good, Longans look good, Mangoes not so good, Wax Jambu starting to flower.
Payment is CASH only.
There will not be an opportunity to pick your own fruit this year.
Social distancing in effect. We highly recommend you wear a mask.

Lychee
This year we will have Mauritius, Sweetheart, and few Brewster few emperor, and very few Hak Ip lychee for sale this year.

We are estimating to start sales on June 5th. Stay tuned, as this could change.

We will pick the fruit that morning and start sales at 10:00 am We will be selling the fruit in 3 pound bags (not one pound, and not two pound.)

A three pound bag of Mauritius, Brewster, Emperor will be $25.00
A three pound bag of Sweetheart and Hak Ip will be $30.00

Mango
Mangoes are light this year. Almost no Alphonso, and limited amount of Carrie.
We are estimating 2-3 weeks for mangoes to be ready. We’ll keep you posted.
Price will be in the $3 to $4 per pound price.

Longan
Looks like we’ll have a good crop this year. Variety is Kohala.

Wax Janbu
Starting to flower

Operating Procedure:
Come to farm, stand in line, 6 feet apart. We will call you up to the table when it is your turn.
You can buy bags in denominations of 3 pounds. We accept cash only and service will be on a “first come, first serve” basis.

We ask for your patience as the line will be long, and labor short. If you are in a hurry, you may want to reconsider your options for purchasing lychees.
