First of all, the fruit set looks good. All five varieties of lychee have set fruit. The mangoes look good as well. There were two blooms on the mango trees this year and the trees have a combination of large and small fruit on them. If we can only keep the storms away, we can keep more fruit on the trees.

This week could also be busy as the roofers will be putting the roof on the new pavilion this Saturday. Please be careful and please do not wander into the orchard.

Lychees are starting to turn red but are still a bit small. I’m thinking at least another week and a half until they are ready. Expect lychee to be at least $5.25 per pound.
