I visited my friend Bill Masters’ lychee farm yesterday. He was able to save over 95% of his lychee crop from the recent freeze. Just down the street there was a Grove of 1200 Brewster lychee trees, which are all dead. Bill pointed out that these air layers survived 25° for several days..
